Something for the weekend
One of my favourite web sites is John Kricfalusi's blog. Even if you don't know his name, you know his work: he created Ren & Stimpy. Recently on his blog, he's been doing some animation lessons, talking his readers through a wonderful old book by a bloke called Preston Blair.
Doing (computer) animation is something that I don't really enjoy so much these days; but as part of my desire to spend more time with a pencil in my hand, it seemed to me to be a perfect opportunity to have some fun.
Here's my first effort at trying to get my hand back in shape for drawing: Billy running.

He just doesn't stop! Stop, Billy! Stop!
Great stuff Craig!!!
Beautiful!
Peeked at the John Kricfalusi blog. And laughed over and over again at that great Bugs Bunny & the gremlins piece. The little chuckle while he reads... =)
But he's not tripping over his ears!
b.
Sweet. I think version two should feature a thought bubble saying something along the lines of "Wow! A stick!", or something appropriately Billy-esque.
That is quite a talent you have for animation there. Nice one.
Totally off topic but last night I was dreaming that I was seriously ill. The kind of illness that means spending weeks ot months in bed. And guess what my brother did - he installed a TV over my bed so little sis' would not bore herself to death and the first DVD he gave me was a feature-length film of David with One Long Arm...
oooh, nice...artists are so brilliant!
