This is a joke, right?
From BBC News:
Dead stingrays with their tails cut off have been found in Australia, sparking concern that fans of naturalist Steve Irwin may be avenging his death. For some reason, this reminds me of the 'war on terror.' I wonder if they got the stingray that actually stung Steve Irwin... or maybe it's hiding in a cave near the Pakistan border, too...

Nah, not a joke - they're usually funny. This is just wrong-diddly wrong. Stoopid idiots
If he'd been killed by a turtle, it could be the War on Terrapins.
Perhaps, worryingly, Bush means a 'War on Terra,' the Latin word for Earth.
Did you watch the derby?
What's horse-racing got to do with it?
(Go on, then: gloat if you want.)
Craig, you're either with us, or you're with the stingrays.

And you believe that jellyfish have WMD, too?
come to think of think of it, I don't seem to recall Bush ever pronouncing the "R" at the end of terror. I think you are on to something. My only doubt is Bush knowing Latin, but I'm sure the rest of that lot does.
"For some reason, this reminds me...."
It may be because you have telpathically picked up a confused link with the secret 'death ray' developments going on deep underground somewhere in Arizona....
It's a shame about rays.
maybe they watched 'the life aquatic' and took it a bit too seriously.
