That means Little Church apparently. Before the major onslaught of photos of Oscar Niemeyer's work begins on this blog tomorrow, here's a tiny taste; this place was built in 1958 with the tiles designed by Athos Bulcão.
The town is way better to visit in the 'dry' (very dry, almost like a desert) season, between july and september. The sunsets are wonderful then. So glad you enjoy it anyway!
And you're right, "igrejinha"= little church (and right in the street ahead, the best pizza in town :D)
I´m from Brasilia too, did you like the city? The architecture is really amazing and Athos Bulcão´s work is incredible. Did you see other walls made by him?

Oh man now I am jealous! His work is so cool! Very space age and other worldly. Like something you would see on mars. Lucky you!
mmmm... Niemeyer

I. Am. So. Jealous. Can't wait to see your photos.
Solange - I went for pizza at that place, and indeed, yes, it was very good. Thanks for the tip.

Fernanda,
Yes, I loved Brasilia. So beautiful. And the sky was amazing. Sadly, I didn't see any of his other walls.
